Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ReturnKits Ltd's ("ReturnKits", "we", "us") website and services, including account registration, ordering return kits, and shipping kits to new starters. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the company you represent.

ReturnKits provides return kits and logistics for recovering IT hardware (laptops, phones, tablets, monitors) from departing or remote employees on behalf of our business customers, and for shipping kits directly to new starters. Kits include packaging, a prepaid courier label, and delivery/return tracking.

To use the company portal you must register an account with accurate information. Company accounts are joined by invitation only — we do not use email domain matching to grant access. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account, including that of any team members you invite. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Prices are shown ex-VAT at checkout, with VAT added as a separate line, and are payable in full at the time of order via our payment processor, Stripe. Each kit is a one-off purchase — we do not currently offer subscriptions. Prepaid Kit Credits can be purchased in advance and redeemed against future orders of the matching kit type; credits are typed per kit type and are not interchangeable. Prices may change at any time but will not affect orders already placed. Optional Enhanced Cover provides a carrier declared-value passthrough for loss or damage in transit up to your selected coverage amount; Enhanced Cover is not an insurance product.

Each kit includes packaging, a prepaid return or delivery label, and tracking. Delivery and collection timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in the device passes back to you (the customer) only once it is received at the specified return address. If a device is lost or damaged in transit and Enhanced Cover was purchased, our liability is limited to the coverage amount selected; without Enhanced Cover, our liability for loss or damage in transit is limited to the price paid for the kit.

You're responsible for confirming device condition with the device holder before booking a kit, and for providing accurate recipient and return addresses. ReturnKits is not responsible for pre-existing damage, data loss on the device prior to collection, or delays caused by incorrect address information you provide.

You agree not to use ReturnKits to ship prohibited, hazardous, or illegal items, to misuse the platform to submit fraudulent orders, or to attempt to circumvent our security controls.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReturnKits's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, misuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent activity.

Orders can only be cancelled by ReturnKits staff, and only while an order is still awaiting dispatch — once a kit has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. All kit purchases are final; we do not process automated refunds. Where a refund is genuinely owed — for example, a card-paid order cancelled before dispatch — it is issued manually to your original payment method; contact us to request one. Kit Credits used to pay for an order are automatically restored to your balance if that order is cancelled before dispatch.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last modified" date at the top of this page.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
